Manuscript preparation and submission

Word and Latex2e templates for manuscripts are available at
http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/authors/transjnl/index.html.

For MS Word Users:
Please use the Word Template for Transactions on Magnetics available at http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/authors/transjnl/index.html and updated January 2008. This file is available under the section titled “Word Template for Transactions on Magnetics.”

For LaTex2e Users:
Authors who wish to use LaTeX should follow the link above and read the instructions for manuscript preparation by downloading the PDF or .DOC file under the section titled Word Template for Transactions on Magnetics.

After reviewing the instructions, the authors can proceed to prepare their manuscripts using the "WIN or MAC LaTeX2e Transactions Style File" and "WIN and MAC Bibliography File," or "Unix LaTeX2e Transactions Style File" and "Unix Bibliography File". These files are available at http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/authors/transjnl/index.html under the section Template for all Transactions (except IEEE Transactions on Magnetics). Please use these files despite the section title.

All manuscripts must be submitted via the IEEE web submission system, Manuscript Central, http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/magconf-ieee. This website will be open beginning February 28, 2009. No hard paper manuscripts will be accepted. Reviewing and revisions will all be handled through the on-line system.

The deadline for manuscript submission is March 6, 2009.

You or one of your co-authors must present this paper in person at the conference for it to be published in the special INTERMAG issue of IEEE Transactions on Magnetics.

For inquiries regarding the mechanics of submission of your paper on Manuscript Central, please contact IEEE Support at oprs-support@ieee.org or call +1 732 465 5861.
